English

Workshop date: 19 May 2021

International Land Coalition (ILC) members for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and Prindex LAC experts came together to analyse and share their research methodologies and results from previous studies on land tenure and property rights. The workshop was organised to identify future actions or joint activities.

As part of the workshop, the first regional results from LANDex were presented by ILC LAC. LANDex is a global land index with an emphasis on land monitoring and building a land data ecosystem. The participants had the opportunity to find out about an interesting Colombian study case run by the Observatory of Ethnic and Peasant Territories by the Pontifical Xavierian University. Prindex global and regional results were also analysed.

All this information was analysed within working groups, which shared their results at the end the webinar.
